The church has been involved for a number of years in establishing affordable housing, through Chemong Village in Peterborough. We have also offered up the church itself as a Warming Room when the local homeless shelter needed more space. On a fun note, our volunteers often supply cold or hot beverages to all the volunteers lining up for parades in front of our church.
