People & Programs – University/College/Careers Group

Our congregation is delighted to be a church home-away-from-home for many Trent and Fleming students. Once a month, someone in the congregation hosts a dinner in their home for this group of young adults. It’s a wonderful way to get to know one another, and it's a great opportunity for students to be in a home setting receiving a lovingly prepared meal.

This group meets at additional times throughout the school year as events and activities arise. With a strong interest in taking action for social justice, this group volunteers for missions, retreats, feeding the homeless, guest speakers, movies that inspire dialogue and action, and various other ways to explore faith, theology, and our place in the world. Other young adults from our congregation who are working are also a part of this group.
