The Wider Church – Wondercafe

Ever wonder if Muslim voters in Canada should wear veils? Or whether children are naturally good or bad? Wondercafe is the website for you. Wondercafe was developed to respond to the upsurge of interest in spiritual topics among young Canadians. It's hard to find a place where you can have an open-minded discussion about big topics, small questions, and spiritual issues. The United Church of Canada developed the site because we believe exploration and discussion are critical to our faith. There's a discussion going on right now – perhaps about parenting issues ("yeah – let him bring the game-boy"); pop culture ("we can wax poetic about the PC"); Relationships ("where does compassion stop and bondage begin?); Politics ("..hate to admit it, but I voted for Mulroney…"); and lots more. Log on and join in.
